As a web designer in Sinc, I was tasked with the visual update of workenter.gr. Among other deliverables were the logotype, brand identity, media kit, newsletters and, most importantly, news portal.

The portal featured news concerning various themes, but focused on work-related subjects. This specialization was made evident by the fact that it featured a job listing platform, and its main call to action was to have users subscribe to the ASEP exam assistance it offered. In addition, it had separate sections featuring articles regarding sports, viral incidents, historic events, and recipes.

The fundamental mechanism used to separate each category of the portal was color coding. Maintaining blue as the brand’s primary color was a strategic move, and it was applied to all pages that featured articles on general themes, functional pages, and the contents of the subscription platform. The most important requirement, however, was to build a distinct layout that served different types of content, including dashboards, podcasts, job listings, and recipes.

The end result not only met the requirements of the brief, but it also provided the portal with the visual update it needed, receiving praise for its usability and UI from administrators and users alike. This provided the foundation we needed to proceed with the media kits, transactional emails, newsletters, and other required collateral.
